Hand blind hem on silk charmeuse circle skirt, am I a masochist?

I just did a full blind hem hand stitch on a circle skirt made of silk charmeuse, am I a masochist? please tell me it was worth it. took me three nights of sitting on the floor with the hem in my lap.
