Anyone know how to tell good quality fabric from bad quality just by looking online?

Im trying to get better at evaluating fabric from photos before buying. Some shops have very polished photography that makes everything look great and others have dim photos of genuinely amazing fabric. What signals can you actually trust from an online listing?
