How long did it take you to feel confident sewing? Im two years in and still second-guess everything.

I can follow a pattern and my finished projects are wearable but I still feel uncertain about almost every decision. Interfacing choices, seam finishes, fitting adjustments, I always feel like Im guessing. Does this feeling go away or do you just get better at functioning despite it?
