French seams on curves, is it worth it or should I just do a Hong Kong finish?

I want to do a nice seam finish on a curved bodice seam and I cant decide between French seams and Hong Kong finish. French seams look beautiful but curves are hard. Hong Kong finish is easier but requires bias tape. Is there a reason to choose one over the other on a curved seam specifically?
