How do you get a really clean welt pocket? Mine always look slightly off.

Ive made welt pockets probably six times now and theyre better than they were but still not as crisp as I want. The welts themselves look fine but the corners where they meet the garment are never quite sharp. Is this an interfacing issue, a cutting issue, or am I just not pressing enough?
