Is thrifted fabric worth it? Found some at an estate sale with no fiber content label.

Found about 6 yards of something at an estate sale last weekend. It feels like wool but it could be a blend. No label at all. I paid almost nothing for it so the price is right but Im nervous about buying fabric when I cant confirm the content. How do you handle mystery fabric?
