Silk charmeuse -- tips for cutting without it sliding everywhere?

Finally working up the nerve to cut into some silk charmeuse Ive had for ages. Every time I try to cut slippery fabrics they shift and I end up with uneven pieces. Do you use weights, pins, a rotary cutter? What actually works?
