Whats the deal with Japanese cotton lawns vs Liberty Tana Lawn?

Ive been buying Liberty for years but the prices keep going up and Im starting to wonder if Japanese cotton lawns are comparable. I know brands like Kokka and Nani Iro get a lot of love but Ive never actually sewn with them side by side. Is the hand similar? What about shrinkage and color fastness? Im mostly making blouses and lightweight summer dresses so drape matters to me more than structure.
