Hot take: rotary cutters are overrated

I know this is basically heresy but I switched back to shears for everything except knits and my cutting accuracy actually improved. The rotary cutter was faster but I was getting lazy about keeping the blade against the ruler and my pieces were coming out slightly off. Anyone else go back to scissors or am I just bad at rotary cutting?
