EVA foam vs Worbla for shoulder armor?

Building my first set of armor pieces for a con in May. Ive seen people use both EVA foam and Worbla for pauldrons and Im not sure which to go with. Budget is a factor but I also dont want something that falls apart after one weekend. The character design has pretty smooth, curved surfaces if that matters.
