Welt pocket attempt #4... still terrible

I dont understand how these are supposed to work. Watched every youtube video, read the threads here, practiced on scraps. My welts are always crooked or the corners have holes or the pocket bag shows. Starting to think I should just give up and do patch pockets forever. Anyone else struggle with these or am I uniquely bad at this
