My take on a 1950s shirtwaist dress

Finally finished this after like 3 weeks of hand sewing the buttonholes. Used a cotton sateen from Blackbird Fabrics in this amazing seafoam color. Pattern is a vintage Simplicity I found at an estate sale - had to do a fba and take in the waist but totally worth it. The circle skirt uses SO much fabric but the swish is unmatched
