Quick answers to common questions.

List your fabric from the Sell page. Add photos, price, and yards available. Once it sells, you'll be emailed a shipping label—package it up and drop it off.

Founding sellers (first 300): 9% fee — you keep 91% of every sale, for life.

Standard sellers: 13% fee — you keep 87% of every sale.

The fee covers secure Stripe payments, prepaid shipping labels via Shippo, and platform upkeep. Shipping is paid separately by the buyer. Full details in Terms.

Your earnings are added to your Hemline balance when the buyer confirms delivery, or automatically 3 days after tracking shows delivered.

You can use your balance to:

  • Shop — Apply it at checkout on Hemline Market
  • Withdraw — Transfer to your bank account anytime (minimum $1, arrives in 2-3 business days)

View your balance and transaction history on your Account page.

Sellers ship orders. A prepaid shipping label is emailed to the seller after purchase—just print it, package your fabric, and drop it off.

The buyer pays for shipping at checkout. Shipping is charged per seller based on the total yards in your cart:

  • Lightweight — $5
    (under 3 yards of fabric)
  • Standard — $8
    (3 to 10 yards of fabric)
  • Heavy — $14
    (over 10 yards of fabric)

Each shipment includes tracking and insurance.

Not at this time. Local pickup happens outside the platform and isn't covered by our protections.
Not yet—currently U.S. only.
Not in this version. Bundles are on the roadmap for a future release.

Your payment is held until delivery is confirmed.

Here's how it works:

  • When you buy, Stripe holds your payment securely
  • The seller ships with a tracked, prepaid label
  • Once delivered, the system waits 3 days for any issues
  • After 3 days, the seller's earnings are released to their Hemline balance

If something goes wrong—item not as described, never arrives—contact us at hello@hemlinemarket.com within 3 days of delivery.

Contact us at hello@hemlinemarket.com within 3 days of confirmed delivery with photos showing the issue. We'll review and work with you to resolve it. Since payment is held until delivery is confirmed, you're protected.
All sales are final. However, if an order arrives in a condition that doesn't match the listing, contact us within 3 days of confirmed delivery with photos. We'll review and help resolve it.
